A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

I have been a chef for many years but my energy is more divided between tour biking and my art. I plan to bike the Trans Continental Trail in about a year and a half.

2. Why do you make art?

Making art is both a way of expressing myself emotionally and connecting to others, which is sometimes difficult otherwise.

3. What inspires you?

I am inspired by bold and unique ideas and images; anything that stirs up innate emotions from the grandeur of standing on a mountain top to depression driven rage.

4. What/who are your influences?

Bob Ross, Oliver Stone, Roger Waters, and Ann Griffiths.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

Jerry Garcia.
